We used this for a business event, there was no aircon and having windows open meant we were distracted by traffic noise. We were not allowed to put flip charts on the wall even though the walls were in a bad state already. We weren't allowed to change the room layout apparently because of covid distancing rules but their boardroom layout itself. meant we were cramped and had to be close by each other.
These things were all important to the success of the workshop and the venue could have been more flexible. The service and food was otherwise excellent and the general building surroundings were beautiful and historic.

The Architects Underground, staged at RIBA last Wednesday (and every Wednesday going forward), was absolutely amazing. A wonderful mixture of dance, poetry, music, and riveting lectures spanning the worlds of architecture and music recording. The lecture delivered by Giles Martin on the innovative recording process of Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane, and several songs from Sgt Peppers, with the use of some 40 individually soloed tracks and out-takes from the original Abbey Road sessions was mesmerising. Fabulous event!
