I cannot recommended Lawrence highly enough, he was able to help us through the visioning steps of the project and came up with something which is not just practical, but also rather creative with ways to enhance the overall use and feel of the space created. Throughout the planning process he kept us up to date with the progress and was able to put forward our case for the project to go ahead, as a result of challenges from the local planning authority, which he dealt with in a professional manner.

We have just worked with Lawrence to develop a set of plans for an extension to our house and to apply (successfully) for planning permission. From the start we were impressed by Lawrence’s vision and his eco credentials. We felt like Lawrence saw the potential in our site and understood what we were trying to do. Lawrence developed a range of ideas that we never would have thought of and we have developed a very high quality design that we are really excited about. As a complete novice to the world of construction, I found Lawrence on line. When I met him I was impressed by his thoughtful but cheerful personality and by the professional manner in which he went about creating the plans for our proposed new house. He guided myself and my husband carefully and successfully through the planning process. His drawings were artistic and accurate and it was the help we received from Lawrence that gave us the confidence to proceed. My husband has health issues which added to our dependency upon Lawrence and we would like to thank him for both his work and his emotional support

This project was a delight from start to finish. It was a pleasure dealing with someone who has obviously developed an affinity both for the unique patchwork landscape of North Devon and for the vernacular architecture of its rural farm buildings. Lawrence has the ability to create a clever juxtaposition of modern styling and technology with traditional materials such as cob, stone and oak.
His attention to detail is remarkable and enables him to lift his inspiration seamlessly from the drawing board to site.
Furthermore, his ideas work. He has created for us a home that is good to live in and efficient to use, but also one that inspires and lifts the heart and soul in so many ways.
