Practice Report

Working predominantly within the South West peninsula, although occasionally also further a field, HEIGHWAY FIELD ASSOCIATES is a broad based Practice which has accumulated significant design experience and technical expertise undertaking a wide range of PROJECTS currently ranging in value from around 100,000 to 8M.

People Report

Paul Heighway (ARB:040422E) studied architecture at the Polytechnic of North London and was elected to the RIBA in 1973. He worked for a number of practices in London including Powell and Moya before relocating to Devon and forming the partnership of Baldock Benns and Heighway in 1978. Subsequently a director of BBH Chartered Architects Ltd., Paul co-founded Heighway Field Associates with Andrew Field in 1996.

HEIGHWAY FIELD ASSOCIATES has accumulated an extensive and diverse portfolio ranging from modest scale private residential work through to much larger complex commercial projects. We possess particular expertise in the renovation and imaginative re-use of historic buildings and have undertaken many projects within Conservation Areas within which we have demonstrated an appropriately sensitive yet creative design approach.
