Our buildings work well, they make the best possible use of the site and the budget, they please the users and they please the public. They are bold and uplifting on the outside, spacious and bright on the inside. They stand out but they are considerate to their context. Our buildings are at the forefront of sustainable design: we expect every project to be a carbon-positive habitable renewable energy power station, with all vehicles as domestic appliances.We design all sorts of buildings: corporate HQ's, medical research institutes, science museums, university accommodation, school teaching facilities, community centres, student residences, luxury apartments and many one-off houses.
For Blue House, one of our designs at Graven Hill in Bicester, as featured on Grand Designs: The Street. This is the biennial award for the best building in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Beauty. Kiss House was named as Best Housing Solution for Oxfordshire at Oxford Property Festival 2018. Special Award for Architectural Merit: a new award specifically created to acknowledge both buildings' design excellence.

Our competition win for a new house for girls at Shrewsbury School is featured in The Architects' Journal. Adrian James is featured on local television about his radical Oxford transport solution. The project succeeds because of the eye for detail which has been invested from brickwork to carpentry, from lighting to tiling. At the start of the project, the architects displayed a considerable amount of grace working within the financial and administrative constraints of church governance. They should be applauded for their skill and resilience!

All of them are spacious, light, calm and uncluttered as per the original inspiration for Kiss House, Adrian James's multi-award winning Sandpath House. The guiding principle applied to the design of Sandpath being Keep It Simple.
