We recently worked with Sam and the team at Architecture: WK through their 'Design in a Day' service and are thrilled with the beautiful results. What a brilliant experience! They diligently worked with us to help bring our vision to life, thoughtfully taking into account all the aspects we wanted to incorporate and providing practical advice on how to take the project forward. The outcome far exceeded our expectations and it was wonderful working with such creative and knowledgeable professionals - we can't recommend them enough!

Utterly, utterly worth it! Sometimes even the most benign scheme can fall foul of exacting (pedantic!) planning departments and we learnt that lesson the hard way. With 'permission refused' and in near despair our dream home was not to be realised, we engaged with Sam and her team. Through smart, aesthetically considered design (and quite frankly refuting some of the nonsense levelled at our original plan!) we have been able to negotiate the planning process to a positive outcome - permission is GRANTED!

This stage is not to be taken lightly - you go nowhere without permission. Sam & team showed deep experience of policy but with little compromise and an abundance of creativity they produced a design we didn't think was possible - so clever! Always in contact, always pro-active, to say we recommend is understatement!

We have loved every step of the design process with Sam and her team at Architecture:WK. The Design in a Day workshop was the perfect way for us to figure out what we wanted our renovation project to include, and we couldn't be happier with the design that came out of it. Everyone at Architecture:WK has been fantastic to deal with - wonderful people as well as being incredibly talented architects! We can't recommend them highly enough!

We really enjoyed the process of working with Sam and the team. We found the home workshop visits really helped us work out what we wanted and Sam was amazing at talking us through the process and understanding our requirements. The Sketch Up plans that were created after that were amazing and really brought everything to life and felt super exciting. So would wholeheartedly recommend Architecture:WK, and if we were mad enough to do another project like this again then I'd be knocking on their door once more.

I've recently finished a complete refurbishment of my home, working from start to finish with Sam and her team, and am over the moon with the results. They have been a pleasure to work with and have been a constant source of help and advice. From initial design right through to completion, their professional approach and creative designs, along with a friendly willingness to help were invaluable. I'm incredibly grateful to Sam and her colleagues at Architecture:WK for getting me the planning permission I've been desperately after. From the beginning, Sam has been clear and open with her ideas and opinions, and really listened to what our needs were. She designed a wonderful additional floor to our home that works incredibly well with the existing structure and layout, meaning it is minimal disruption to the existing interior. Furthermore, we were always aware that it was a difficult permission to gain. Sam highlighted at the start that it was very likely that Richmond council wouldn't approve this application, but our chances were good with the appeal. She was absolutely right. I can't emphasis how wonderful she is. Design, communication, understanding needs and understanding planning. all brilliant! I could go on and on.

We recently had a new kitchen designed by Sam Kamleh and her team at architecturewk in Teddington. We are absolutely delighted with it and it is even lovelier than anticipated, so light and spacious with beautiful roof beams and details. Sam and her team were a pleasure to work with. They really listened to what we wanted and were keen to know how we saw the kitchen working for us as well as giving us ideas to consider.

Sam and her team were a joy to work with. They did a fantastic design in a day workshop with us, exploring different options for our first floor and loft conversion project. My wife and I are just about to enter the Planning Process with Sam & the guys at Architecture WK having completed the Design in a Day workshop and follow on discussions - in a nutshell they've been absoloutely brilliant! One of my main problems with any Professional Service is how often & easy it is to end up being "just another client", but Sam has really taken the time to work with us as a couple, and family to help design a house that will work for us and the way that we live, whilst still being interesting in it's design & bringing the light and living space we've always dreamt of.

I'd genuinely have no issue recommending Sam & the guys, the design in a day workshop worked brilliantly for our purposes and we're looking forward to building a beautiful extension asap!

Our 'Design in a Day' experience was fantastic. Their ideas went way further than anything we could have imagined, but never felt outside our comfort zone. They seemed to really get what we wanted to do. The final presentation helped us decide what we did and did not want to move forward with. We decided to continue with A:WK all the way through to finished construction drawings and now feel confident and well-armed moving into the actual build.

Our Design in a Day Workshop was both extremely helpful and highly enjoyable. Sam spent time familiarising herself with the surrounding area and the site of our proposed project, before talking with us at length, and listening attentively to get a feel for our hopes and requirements. She was positive and enthusiastic, while pointing out some practical constraints and possibilities that non-professionals would not be aware of.

When it came to sketching ideas, Sam worked quickly and creatively. She clarified and developed our thoughts, while offering and incorporating her own expert and inspired solutions, and leading us in a very enjoyable and energetic process of creative collaboration. We felt fully involved, and never dictated to. The sketches Sam produced on the day were clear and easy for us to understand.

We have now received a package of beautifully developed plans, and internal and external views of two design options, with accompanying inspiration illustrations for each area. These preliminary proposals meet our practical brief, and are perfectly attuned to the spirit of our project. The package also includes a clear outline of the next stages, with estimated costs, and we are very much looking forward to proceeding with Architecture WK. The design in a day workshop really stood out as what we were looking for. We like to be involved in the design process and a collaborative approach was just what we were looking for. From the moment AWK received our call, they showed genuine enthusiasm and passion for the project taking a real interest in the design features of our house. We achieved a huge amount in just half a day, and Sam gave us expertise and design ideas that a builder could not. Sam listens, is client centred, innovative, well organised and an excellent project manager. She pays attention to detail. Most of all she is passionate about her work. Dear Sam It was also a pleasure for us having you around and thank you for your highly professional approach and your conduct. I appreciate that the format of this session can be tiring but your energy, ideas and the way you engaged with us made the 8 hours fly by in the most constructive manner. We are extremely satisfied with the way the Design in a Day session was conducted and the end result / deliverables. Its hard to think of any additional information one would expect given the time allocated for this session. You may want to consider providing a 3D model or proposed local suppliers of materials/services but then again such would be "nice to have" rather than significant improvement to the quality of the deliverables.
