Our preference, determined through years of experience, is to offer a complete service to our clients. This service package is called the Full Architectural Service.
We feel that not only does this set us apart from the back room draughtsman but it demonstrates value for money to our clients as working from concept through to completion of a build, ensures that the vision for your project is not lost.
We try to ensure that critical design features are retained if budget cuts are necessary, and that should problems arise as they often do when on site, then we are on hand to resolve them without leaving you or your builder out of pocket.
At Crescent Architects Ltd we strive to help you, inspire you, push your brief, guide you, engage you with our designs, and fall in love with the space we are creating. We believe that because architects are well trained, accredited, and impartial professionals, we can help you to achieve your dreams for your home before you start knocking walls down.
We try to cater our services to suit your needs and look to discuss this when we first meet. Often prior to our meeting we will ask you to confirm your details and this will allow us to conduct an initial appraisal before we can be certain on our fee. An architect can offer a drawing only approach, with a quick turnaround service of basic plans and elevations, if your scheme is simple, relatively small or time is of the essence.
For a relatively simple extension or alteration to a property we may suggest that the best approach is to opt for the Drawings Only service. This comprises stages 1 to 4, which is a Feasibility Study, Planning Application and Building Regulations pack. We will work together to produce a Feasibility Study, undertaking an outline survey of your property, and looking at some of the possibilities that will best meet your brief. These proposals will then be taken forward for Planning Submission and Building Regulations approval.
Demolition of outbuildings, complete house renovation, double storey side extension, rear single storey kitchen dining room. The works have involved design from start to finish to update, modernise and extend a vacated historic farmhouse. Renovations have included removing the existing floors, installing new damp courses, replacing the chimneys and the roof, replacing all the windows and installing new doors.
Crescent Architects Ltd showcased the stunning home - a unique, stylish and contemporary four bed property, designed with the architecture firm's energy efficient values in mind - on the More 4 TV show, Building the Dream. Located on a beautiful site, adjacent to the canal in Boroughbridge, north of York, the build utilises its grand positioning perfectly.

Suzanne was just the Architect we needed to help with the restoration of, and extension to of our newly purchased period house.
