SKM Architects Ltd is an ARB-registered and RIBA Chartered Practice providing innovative residential and commercial architecture, project management and interior design. The practice also undertakes all works including planning, urban design, building surveying and 3D visualisation services to clients throughout the UK.Specialising in residential developments, SKM Architects are able to offer a wealth of planning and design advice as well as submitting planning and building control applications. The experienced staff ensure clients are kept well-informed and updated at every stage of a project.
SKM Architects has an expanding workforce that includes three fully-qualified architects who are ARB-registered RIBA members. All employees are qualified to a minimum of degree level, with the directors possessing significant industry experience. We are a team of architects, project managers and interior designers based in Leicester and London. We provide a full range of architectural and interior design services in all sectors, from residential to commercial, public and private, across the UK. I want to start by saying that Sanjay and his team are truly passionate and professional about their work and that comes across from the very first interaction and continues throughout. My project is being managed by Minal and her attention to detail, and commitment never fails to impress me.

To summarise, SKM Architects were simply amazing! Very professional, respectful, diligent and knowledgeable. They were able to navigate a challenging situation, offer great advice, manage and conclude the build of my extension on time and budget. The whole experience with the team was stress free and smooth running. Sanjay was always informative of the status, he gave clear instructions and recommendations when I needed to make decisions and his attention to detail on site was second to none.
Whenever I had a query, Sanjay was on hand to address any questions and he always gave sound logical justifications. The construction team was polite and skilful. They were empathetic to our day to day needs as they continued to get the work completed at the same time as we resided in the property.

We have used SKMDesign for an extension and remodelling of our internal space. Sanjay and Mitesh have helped use in all the step but most importantly they have not used jargons that were incompressible to use (which I believe it is very important). Overall, it has been a good experience working with them and good value for our money. Carlo

I don't want to write too much as it can go on for pages. So I'll keep it short and sweet. My experience using SKM Design for the first time in 2014 was nothing but positive. As a first time property developer, they explained many complex terms in plain English. Whenever we hit a hurdle with planners, builders, the actual build itself (and trust me you'll get plenty of these doing a build!), they were always there to help and find a progressive solution to overcome the problems.
With this in mind we went on to use them again on another project and this time on my own house and things can get very personal/emotional as its one's own home, but again nothing but positive experience with them. As a fellow business person myself, it would be good if some other companies take could take a leaf out of SKM Design's book and treat clients as people and not just a pound () sign. Clients treated right will stay clients for life, otherwise they just come and go and increase your marketing budget! I am sure there will be other projects I will be doing with SKM Design once I've finished this 2nd project with them!

If you want a competent Architect / Designer look no further. The team at SKM Architects couldn't be more helpful in making our dream home come true. They inspired us throughout the design stages and helped us get our home built with an excellent builder whom kept to price and time. Well worth the hunt to find these guys.
