We can provide Architectural services for a wide variety of home projects from simple extensions to one off custom built contemporary new homes. We can provide visuals and 3/D computer generated images of how your finished project will look. We have been involved with many cafe/restaurant projects over the years and we can provide initial help on working up the concept, in addition to all the other requirements and interior architectural planning that will be required.
New shop front, glazed canopy and complete re-fit including an internal glazed atrium are all combined in this newly designed development. We are pleased to have been responsible for the design and construction management for many of Cadwaladers Ice Cream's retail units including - Cardiff Bay, Llandudno, Portmeirion, Porthmadoc, and Betws Y Coed.

Ark Design & Architecture were involved in the development of our new café at Bodelwyddan Castle and were chosen out of a number of tenderers due to the innovative way in which they had approached the design of other locations that we knew. We were not disappointed with our choice. We found it a joy to work with Ark Design both at conceptual design stage and also during construction and fit-out.
We were particularly pleased with the way in which the café design developed in a most imaginative way using other design features within the Victorian Castle. The final product is modern in character but fits seamlessly within the Victorian décor of the remainder of the historic house. This seamless integration is the mark of good design.

Trevor helped Cadwaladers initial shop development programme by introducing a professional approach to design. Even more importantly he initiated the distinctive Brand Development which has been followed through to this day. Importantly Trevor was always able to challenge and find innovative creative interior and architectural design solutions.
