Sharon provided us with an outstanding service from our initial meeting with her to our plans being approved. She was always willing to accommodate our requirements and listen to what we wanted, and then guided us through the various options she believed would suit our needs. She comprehensively answered all our questions and provided us with a superb set of plans. Sharon was delightful to deal with and I will highly recommend her services.

We approached Sharon with a limited budget unsure whether we would be able to achieve what we were looking for as our final retirement home. . Our brief was a simple economic but attractive 3 bed bungalow design – clean lines – plenty of light – 1500 sq ft but with the possibility of future first floor extension. She not only met our brief but demonstrated how we could achieve the extra first floor space still within budget.

She has achieved for us the most attractive modern 2,100 sq ft property we could have wished for with everything any retired couple would want for ground floor living and leading from a beautiful hall, stair and balcony included two more very spacious visitors' rooms and bathroom. Sharon's fees were very reasonable and she remained available throughout the build giving advice and suggestions that have enhanced even more the excellent work of our builder GM Construction of Banbridge.

We asked Sharon to design a retirement home for us. She listened very carefully to what we wanted and then also guided us gently to what we needed. The result is a house which is unique, spectacular and yet easy to manage. The rooms are light and bright with nice high ceilings.

Designs for Living provided us with an astounding level of customer service and satisfaction. After a brief description of what we needed; Sharon brought our needs to reality with a professional and affordable outcome. We needed an extension to our home as well as changes to the existing property. Once Sharon had these details and our budget she transformed our home. From our initial consultation, we knew Sharon would be the architect to design our 'dream house'. When she presented us our first draft plans, we barely changed a single thing - she'd nailed it! Almost everyone to work on or in the house has complimented on the design, particularly the internal layout and how homely it feels. Cool in the summer and cosy in the winter - we couldn't be happier!

After consulting with several Architects ( including Sharon ) my husband & I decided that we wanted Sharon to be the Architect for our new build. She is professional, approachable, open to ideas, proposed concepts we hadn't considered & available for queries. She is currently on the second draft phase of drawings for us after consultation & review of ideas & layouts.

The first draft were excellent, we loved the layout but after discussion we decided on a few changes . Review of second draft shortly & then on to planning. Can't recommend " Sharon Johnston Designs for Living " high enough.

After consulting with a few architects my wife and I contacted Sharon after a recommendation from a friend. We instantly struck up a rapport with Sharon as we discussed our design brief and we both left feeling that she was the right person to design our family home.
