Building Tectonics Ltd High-quality architectural design led by a careful feasibility planning process that will make your project a reality, without suffering the pitfalls that so many property owners face. We are a CIAT (Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists) registered architectural practice, providing design and technical services across residential and commercial projects.

We do everything an Architect does. We are based in Fenny Stratford, Milton Keynes. However, our projects extend to Bedfordshire, Northampton, Luton, St Albans, and Buckinghamshire.
Services
We start projects with a Feasibility Scheme at a fixed fee. This involves visiting your home at a time that suits you, listening to your requirements. The visit takes about two and a half to three and a half hours. Following the visit and survey we will produce a number of schemes for your perusal.
Building Tectonics worked on the designs for our open plan living/dining extension at the end of last year and we finished the build late this Summer. Many thanks for the great variety of designs that really helped us get to where we wanted; along with the help we had throughout the structural calculations and planning process.
At Building Tectonics our forte is residential projects. We specialise in all types of works - whether it is a brand new dwelling, loft conversion, or rear extension; we are happy to help make your design come to life.

Building Tectonics did my kitchen extension back in 2008. I was very happy with their service back then, I remember being glad I chose them. Fast-forward to 2022 and I'm selling the house, and I realise that over the years I've lost a folder with all the extension documents, which were needed for the sale. I contacted Building Tectonics, who thankfully still had my papers. They made the effort to find those papers, then scanned and emailed them to me at no cost. I'm very grateful and I thank them for their professionalism.

Very supportive and accommodating as it took us a while to decide what we wanted. We are more than happy with the outcome.

After initial phonecall which should have initiated an e mail and return phone call, we never heard back. Disappointed.

Very good service from Building Tectonics, they designed our single story extension and internal redesign. They were happy to resolve design queries as they come up through the build in a sensible and pragmatic way with our builder.

Tony has patiently and willingly issued variations and versions of the drawings until I am finally satisfied with the proposed renovation plans. Even when I had to request a minor amendment post planning approval, Tony obliged without fuss and came up with the revision most efficiently. Thank you!

Great personal service from start to finish from Tony and his team. We really appreciated the flexible approach and free-thinking that gave several alternative ideas, allowing us to do far more than we had anticipated with the available garage and loft space - Thank you.

My main contact at Building Tectonics (BT) was Tony Keller. We purchased the property in March 2010. We loved the area and wanting to extend the kitchen, creating a larger space with separate utility room. BT were extremely professional and supportive all the way! They provided many designs and discussed options with us. We have also asked BT to help with all there was to do with planning & building regulations and permissions, as well as structural engineering.

We were very lucky also with the builders, but the project would have even started if we didn't have the support and guidance of Tony and his team first. We are embarking in the second phase of the extension now, this time: garden room, added dressing room and extra bedroom. Of course Building Tectonics are helping again!

Our conservatory included a kitchen, dining room/lounge with no doors & a plastic roof so we were very cold in the winter. We contacted Building Tectonics who transformed our uncomfortable space into a very light garden room by taking the walls down between the kitchen & dining room/lounge & adding a proper roof. We now enjoy cooking, eating & relaxing in a great open space.
