We all want somewhere to relax at the end of the day, designing homes that give people that sense is at the heart of our work. We work with individuals on one off houses and residential developers from feasibility to on site completion.
We are passionate about our surroundings and we want others to feel the same. We design for the people who live and work in the cities, towns and local communities we create. We seek to make new connections which will enhance the existing environment, lead people to vibrant places and see the place they live in a new light, but above all we seek to ensure that they are sustainable environmentally, socially and economically.
Eating, drinking, getting active. At ADDC we have vast experience of all three; buildings that is! We have extensive experience in the hotel and leisure sector. We have renovated and refurbished a number of historic public houses and restaurants locally, drawing on our specialist knowledge of historic buildings and conservation work.
The Derby Arm concept is a 30m high electro-mechanical structure that would lift canal boats out of the restored Derby Canal and place them into the river Derwent (and vice versa), allowing boats on the UK canal network to travel in to the very centre of Derby, up to the Silk Mill. This would reproduce the success that many other UK cities have experienced by restoring their urban waterways.
