Andrew Burridge Architecture relocated to Edinburgh in 1995 from London, where the practice has retained links and continued to carry out work. In 2002, with a growing workload and success working in challenging planning contexts, Andrew Burridge established Studio 33 - an umbrella organization for architects to work under and at times collaborate on projects.

I contacted SHS to ask about a quote for getting a building warrant. Spoke with Andrew who, after some questions about the work, confirmed I did not require a building warrant. I really appreciate this company's honesty and advice rather than wanting to charge me for nothing. Will definitely use these guys if I need actual work in the future!

Andrew Burridge has worked very effectively on a piece of work that whilst not glamorous, is very important, in fact essential. The setting is a Heritage England Grade 1* ancient monument - which in itself provides huge challenges. Andrew has so far, guided myself and my project partner, through what has been a mountain of paperwork, but he has communicated all very clearly, thanks in part to an approachable, gentle manner. Most importantly, Andrew has never diminished the importance of our work, a small but complex project. Andrew.

Andrew acted as architect, from inception through to completion, on our comprehensive flat refurbishment. It is testament to his great and creatve work that several years on it still provides flexibility and still looks fresh and contemporary. It has proved through time to be exactly the living space that our family needed through growing up. We are about to refurbish now our children have left home and will not hesitate to employ Andrew again.
